Mission Statement

The mission of the Murphy Helwig Library is to assemble, organize, preserve, and make easily available significant and up-to-date materials in a variety of formats and other media that will provide an essential resource for personal growth, including stimulation, education, and recreation for all age groups.

As a vital part of the community, the library provides services and programs that meet the needs of the community. The library is a welcoming place where people and resources are brought together. The modern library services will encourage all age groups to educate themselves continuously through the use of the library.
